What is the WORD
The Word can simply mean the WORD OF GOD
It refers to something that God has decreed to come to pass. It is also used of the actual spoken words of God. Words that God has spoken through the prophets can also be called the "WORD OF GOD".
God the Son, Jesus Christ, is known as the WORD OF GOD. At the Home Page we read the following:
"In beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John 1:1 KJV).
In the Book of Revelation, John describes the risen Christ at the "Word of God". He Wrote:
"He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which he is called is The Word of GOd." (Revelation 19:13 ESV)
The WORD OF GOD is a manifestation of the mind and will of God.
